Lamination and mounting are the final steps in preparing your prints for use. Depending on the environment and location, indoors or outdoors, the materials used for this process will differ greatly. We have extensive experience selecting and producing mounted or laminated prints ranging from large fine art reproductions to encapsulated restaurant menus.

Our Seal Ultra 62 allows us to dry mount and laminate on material up to 1” thick and 60” wide by any length with no seams. This combination means we can professionally finish your print to accommodate nearly any application required such as: trans-mounted fine art prints, double side mounting and waterproof encapsulated posters.
Some typical materials to mount on:
- Sintra: (multi-coloured) - A rigid foamed PVC that is a great all-around plastic for indoor and outdoor applications. It can be cut, routed, nailed, painted, sanded and glued. Fade resistant colours will last years in the sun.
- Gatorboard: (black and white) - A lightweight rigid, warp-free core panel consisting of a white 18pt., kraft paper face. Specifically designed for print mounting that requires an extra hardened face.
- Foam Core: (black and white) - A lightweight, rigid, easy to cut economical mounting board. Foam board is ideal for all non-archival mounting projects. Conveniently lightweight yet sturdy enough to resist minor denting. Designed to accommodate clean, crisp cuts and edges.
- Ultra Mount: (black and white) - A lightweight semi-rigid, warp free core panel consisting of a white 18pt., kraft paper face. Specifically designed for photo mounting. An economical choice to Gatorboard.
- Coroplast: (multi-coloured) - A corrugated plastic generally used to mount solvent, waterproof prints for outdoor use. Available in thickness’ of 3/16” (multi coloured) and very rigid 1/2” thick (white).
- Plywood: (Painted) - 1/2” thick painted (white gloss), crezon. A perfect choice for large outdoor sign projects with multi panel murals.
- Styrene: (white) - A thin, economical, ABS plastic that is perfect for mounting small prints up to 22” x 28” , for single and double side viewing.
- Showcard: (Raw finish) - The most economical of all mounting substrates. It’s ideally suited for short-term single and double sided mounting projects.
